A more Exclusive Dive Experience
Our Pulau Segantang private charter is designed for certified divers looking for a more exclusive scuba diving experience in Langkawi. This private dive charter from Langkawi can combine Pulau Segantang diving with Pulau Payar private charter options, making it ideal for Advanced Open Water divers and experienced guests who want a more personalised dive day.
Recommended for Experience Divers
Diving at Pulau Segantang is deeper and more exposed than our regular Pulau Payar trips. Depths usually range from 18 metres to 30 metres, with visibility commonly between 5 metres and 15 metres depending on sea conditions. For safety, this trip is recommended for Advanced Open Water Divers and above, or divers with suitable experience.
Typical Dive Plan
A private charter to Segantang normally includes two dives, with a maximum of three dives depending on the plan and sea conditions. The first dive may be planned around 25 to 30 metres, while the second dive is usually shallower, around 18 metres. Final dive planning is always based on visibility, current, diver experience and guide assessment on the day.
Marine Life & Soft Coral Walls
Divers may encounter large groupers, reef fish, macro life, frogfish, stonefish, seahorses and other marine species. Along the wall at around 16 to 20 metres, divers can see beautiful purple, red and white soft corals, giving Segantang its unique character. Seasonal sightings of larger marine life may also be possible, but never guaranteed.
What Makes Segantang Special
From dramatic offshore island scenery to colourful soft coral walls and rich marine life, Pulau Segantang offers a unique private diving experience for certified divers looking for something beyond the regular Pulau Payar trip.
